{"id":3986,"date":"2014-10-24T13:02:09","date_gmt":"2014-10-24T13:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.w3p.com\/uk\/?p=3986"},"modified":"2015-07-22T15:39:37","modified_gmt":"2015-07-22T14:39:37","slug":"adapting-web-2-print-pitch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.w3p.com\/uk\/adapting-web-2-print-pitch\/","title":{"rendered":"How should you adapt your web-2-print pitch?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When pitching web-2-print, aside from the different roles you may encounter, as discussed in this<br \/>\n<a title=\"web-2-print : who wants what\" href=\"\/uk\/b2client-web-2-print-who-wants-what\/\">blog post<\/a>, different behavioural profiles also come into play.<\/p>\n<p>Myer Briggs, Merrill &amp; Reid (Drivers, Expressives, Analysts and Amiables) or Insights (Reds, Yellows, Greens and Blues) provide ways in which to think about behavioural patterns in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Below we have broken down what web-2-print might mean for 4 different broad groups of people:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The &#8216;Go-Getter&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Typically characterised by the MD. &#8216;Go-getters&#8217; are competitive, determined, strong-willed and purposeful.<\/p>\n<p>The pitch to a go-getter needs to be direct and to the point, delivered in a no frills manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Creative&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Typically characterised by senior marketing\/creative position. Creatives are extrovert, demonstrative, persuasive and have lots of ideas.<\/p>\n<p>For creatives the pitch needs to be high energy, enthusiastic and stimulating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Scrutiniser&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Typically characterised by analysts or the financial functions. Scrutinisers are analytical, cautious, formal and precise.<\/p>\n<p>Similar to the &#8216;go-getter&#8217; the pitch to the scrutiniser needs to be to the point, giving enough time for them to evaluate the relevant points in the pitch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Cohesive&#8217;<\/strong><br \/>\nOften characterised by other marketing functions, people of a cohesive nature are encouraging, patient, relaxed and amiable.
